(Please click on picture to enlarge.) I have been very blessed to have had my knee replaced. I had the
surgery a little over one year ago and today my knee is the best I can
ever remember it to be. Many years ago I injured my knee and had
surgery but I was always in pain from that moment on. As the years
went by, the pain increased and the things I could do decreased. Now I
am able to walk indefinitely when before I could only walk for a very
short while. I no longer limp but can walk upright and straight. I
have had no pain in the knee for the last year or so and each day I
discover things that I can do that I had quit doing because of my
painful knee. Many of those things I quit doing without realizing it
and now realize I can do it again.
"I came to Alliance Physical Therapy, suffering from
disabling knee pain. I was skeptical at first, but was encouraged at each visit
to not give up. After several weeks
of working with my physical
therapist, I was discharged and asked to
continue doing my exercises at home. A year later, I was able to do something I
thought I would never be able to do. I
toured Europe! I had no trouble keeping up with my tour
group and was even able to climb up and down the coliseum steps in Rome without pain. I am so
thankful that my doctor recommended physical therapy and that I chose Alliance
Physical Therapy!" Patient, Hemingford
"I was having so much elbow pain that I had given up doing
something I loved...golfing! After months
and months of different medicines, injections and no relief, my doctor referred me to physical
therapy. I chose Alliance Physical Therapy because I've known Karen since we
were kids. After a few treatments and some directions for exercises to do at
home, I tried golfing again. Imagine my excitement in being able to play again
without pain...and swinging the club better than ever!" CT, Alliance
