Alliance Physical Therapy won second place in the commercial division in the 2008 Heritage Days Parade. The American Physiotherapy Association was formed in 1922 and physical therapy gained prominence when Franklin D. Roosevelt contracted poliomyelitis in 1924. From the hills of Tennessee, to the bricks of Alliance, Nebraska, to the mansions of Hollywood . . . and just like the Clampets . . . the profession of physical therapy has come a long way since the 1920's!
