(Please click on picture to enlarge.) I have been very blessed to have had my knee replaced. I had the
surgery a little over one year ago and today my knee is the best I can
ever remember it to be. Many years ago I injured my knee and had
surgery but I was always in pain from that moment on. As the years
went by, the pain increased and the things I could do decreased. Now I
am able to walk indefinitely when before I could only walk for a very
short while. I no longer limp but can walk upright and straight. I
have had no pain in the knee for the last year or so and each day I
discover things that I can do that I had quit doing because of my
painful knee. Many of those things I quit doing without realizing it
and now realize I can do it again. I attribute much of the success of my knee surgery to the great therapy I received from everyone at Alliance Physical Therapy. Not only did they provide me with the therapy that I needed to recover fully from the surgery but they also gave me great moral support. Karen and her staff were always giving me encouragement and they always made sure that I continued to work on my stretches and exercises needed to strengthen my knee and leg. Many times they also helped me through hard times by encouraging me to continue with the necessary stretches when I may have wanted to back off. I would be remiss if I didn't confess that the therapy was not without pain at times but the great outcome far outweighs the pain that I and everyone who undergoes this surgery and subsequent therapy must endure. I highly recommend to anyone who needs therapy after surgery or for whatever other reason that they go to Alliance Physical Therapy. I was very happy with their services and would go there in a heart beat again if I needed that type of service. |
